Build a Career in Customer Service To qualify for this course you must be aged between 19-24 or 25 with an EHCP

  • Are you aged 19-24 and unemployed or working less than 16 hours per week?
  • Work towards a qualification in customer service
  • Struggle with interviews? Guaranteed interviews upon completion, with the option to gain paid employment, option to move onto an apprenticeship in retail / hospitality and do all this by bypassing standard interview processes
  • No previous experience required!
  • Guaranteed interviews (Jobs or apprenticeship opportunities available at the end)
  • Employer Led qualifications (Gain a Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service)
  • Virtual learning and online programmes
  • Obtain Food & Hygiene Certification

What does a typical placement look like?

During this 6 week programme you will complete an online training programme and work placement to prepare you for a job in the retail/hospitality sector.

This will include;

  • Level 1 Award in Employability Skills (City & Guilds)
  • Level 2 Award in Customer Service (City & Guilds)
  • 70 hour Placement with RoadChef where you can showcase your skills and build on your customer service skills in roles such as retail assistants, crew members and baristas.

What you should wear?

Day to day we look for a ‘smart- casual’ dress style – this means we don’t expect you to wear a shirt and tie but don’t want to see tracksuits either; When on work experience we will help you to look the part, either by wearing the placement provider’s uniform. Black trousers (we will discuss this and support you with this in further detail once you apply)
